Grandparents’ Day is this Sunday.  Some people forget about this special day set aside to remember our grandparents.

We’ve only recognized it since 1978, so some people may not even know it exists, but it does.

Why do we celebrate Grandparent’s Day?

“… to honor grandparents, to give grandparents an opportunity to show love for their children’s children, and to help children become aware of strength, information, and guidance older people can offer.”

I can’t think of a better reason.
