If you’re taking a look at this, you’re probably either wondering what in the heck is a “numis”… or you’re wondering why in the world I made the decision that I did.

For those of you that don’t know, I was in another company that is getting a lot of buzz in the industry right now.  A lot.  And you’ve probably seen some leaders from other companies “jumping ship” to head to this other company.

I went the exact opposite direction.  I left that company to join Numis, and let me tell you why.

See, I’ve been in sales for a long time and I’ve always been about supporting and selling products that I could truly believe in.  I’ve never been one to sell whatever the “hot” item is just because it’s hot or extremely popular.  If the product doesn’t work, isn’t quality, or even if there’s something about it that doesn’t sit well with me, I’m not selling it.

That’s the issue I had with this other company.  I looked around one day and I saw that I had 3 boxes of product sitting in my house that I had never opened to use and I just got real honest with myself and admitted that I was never going to use that product.  I’m not saying there is anything wrong with the product or the company, not at all.  Great product, great company.

But it just didn’t line up with me.  It just wasn’t something that I was ever going to use or commit to building the way I knew it needed to be done.

So how could I build a company with a product that I wasn’t willing to use myself?  You see my dilemma…

At that point, I’d been hearing a lot about Numis Network from some people that I follow online.  It seemed as if a lot of the leaders in the online communities that I follow were getting involved with Numis, so I wondered what in the world it was.

I’ll be the first to tell you that when I first took a look at Numis, I hated it.  I couldn’t understand why in the world someone would pay to collect coins.  I just couldn’t wrap my head around it.  Then, something changed.

I started taking a look at what these coins really are.  They’re assets that will, most likely, only increase in value over time and wouldn’t it be great to have a closet full of these things rather than a closet full of some weight loss product.

And then I noticed something else…

I was amazed at the caliber of leadership that was being attracted to this company.  I watched as David Wood built an incredible team.  I watched Ray Higdon literally come out of nowhere to become a leader not only in this company, but in the industry.  I saw true leadership being built with this company… and I saw something else.

I saw a group of people that were determined not just to build a business, but to build something much more important.  I saw people that wanted to build a legacy.  A legacy for their children and for their children’s children.

At that point, the decision really was a no-brainer.  As Randy Jackson would say, “I’m in it to win it!”

I hear people all the time wanting to use a better, faster way to tell people about their business.  However, in the network marketing industry, sometimes it can be a bit difficult to explain the compensation plan to people.  Especially to those that don’t have any network marketing experience.

You’ll often hear terms like binary, unilevel, override, matching bonus, legacy bonus, infinity downline, and a bunch of other words that just plain don’t make a lot of sense to anyone.  I think they do that on purpose…
