And the steps I’m going to talk about can literally be followed by anyone that’s reading this.  You don’t have to be a scholar, a business tycoon, or even a celebrity to position yourself as a leader in the network marketing industry, or any industry for that matter.  All it takes is a commitment to get out there, do the work that’s necessary, and soon you’ll find that people are now looking to you as a leader.

As a matter of fact, people will probably start to think of you as a leader before you really believe it yourself, if you just follow these 3 simple steps…

Step #1 – Create Valuable Content.  All real leaders are providing some type of valuable content to their followers.  Whether you’re sharing a new process that saves you 30 minutes a day in your business or if you’re teaching people about a new service that’s allowed you to grow your propsect list by 20% this week, provide content that’s valuable.

People can see through when you’re just giving out content that is not honest and genuine.  Everything you create has to come directly from you and be directed to your core audience.  People are attracted to valuable content and want content that they can immediately put into place in their own business and life. If you’re the one that’s providing this content, you’ll soon be looked upon as a leader and you’ll attract more people to yourself.

Step #2 – Be Yourself. I can’t stress this enough.  If you’re not being true to who you are in your business, you’re only heading down a road of complete failure.  People can see through to who you really are in everything that you do online.  If you’re constantly promoting something that really has no benefit to your followers, they’re going to eventually get tired of you and leave you behind, following after someone else that is being true to their inner beliefs and values.

Step #3 – Be Acessible to Everyone. Now I don’t mean that you need to give out your personal information to everyone in the world that you want to join your business.  That’s just asking for trouble.  What I do mean is that you want to be available wherever your target audience is at.

It’s about more than having a blog.  It’s about more than creating a couple of videos.  It means being in every place possible on the Internet that you can be.  Hang out on websites in your market.  Forums are still a great place to show off what you know and attract people.  Be involved on Facebook and Twitter, but don’t be spammy.  Provide real value and real content that people can follow.

If you start following these 3 steps, I know that you’ll soon look around at all of the new followers you’ve picked up and wonder where they all came from.  And they you’ll realize that you’ve become a network marketing leader and, suddenly, you’re having more success in your business than you ever thought was possible.

And not just any content.  To get the best results, you need to create high-quality original content that positions you as a leader and a go-to source of information that others can learn from.  This is especially true in the network marketing industry.  People are looking online every day to find a way, any way, that they can promote their opportunity to as many people as possible, since network marketing really is just a matter of numbers.  The more people that you talk to, the more success you will have.

So, how to you get your content out there on the web?  How can you leverage your work so that it provides the highest possible return for your investment of time?

It’s a good thing you’re reading this, because I’m about to show you how with another one of my patented 3-step processes that I use on a DAILY basis to grow my own business.

Step #1 – Create ONE Piece of Content. Now, how you create this content is entirely up to you.  Everyone has their own favorite way of creating content.  Some will record something in an audio format.  Some will write an article.  Some will create a video.  How you choose to create your content is completely up to you and should reflect your personal style.  Myself, I ALWAYS write out my content first.  It just makes me feel better to see everything out on the page, then I create everything from there.  The most important thing to do here is to GET THE CONTENT CREATED.  No content, no leads, it’s as simple as that, folks.  Get started, get moving, and start creating some content.

Step #2 – Repurpose that ONE piece of content. Now, here’s where we’re going to get some people out of their comfort zones.  To really leverage your results, you’re going to need to have your content available in multiple forms on multiple sites.  Here’s just a few things you can do with one piece of content, and I recommend you do ALL of them for maximum leverage of your work.

• Blog Post
• Article
• Video
• Audio Podcast
• Email Newsletter
• Press Release

There’s some more options available for you, but that’s enough to get you started.  If you’re not creating any of these different types of content, you’re missing out.  Even if you only repurpose your content in just ONE way, you will increase your results exponentially.

Step #3 – Get your content in as many places as possible. You’ve done the work of creating the content, now you’ve got to get it on the web.  And I’m sure you’ve learned by now, there’s about a million places online that you can submit content to.  You don’t have to submit to all of them, just the ones that will offer you the best leverage for your work.  Now, you can go about it the “old school” way and submit each piece of content to one site at a time. Or, you can do it the new way with a submission service that posts to article, video, and audio directories online.  Be careful choosing a service, however.  Some are fantastic and provide a lot of return, but many just submit to junk directories that really get you nowhere.

Everybody is looking for the quick and easy way to success with network marketing.  Now, I’m not sure if that is because most of us are set up from the beginning thinking that we’ve now set out on the “easy path” to wealth and riches, or if we’re just delusional.

Maybe it’s a bit of both.

But, you can’t always believe everything you see or hear, especially when it comes to network marketing.  There really are some people that will just about tell you anything you want to hear to get you to join their company and make a quick sign-up bonus, all while having no interest in developing you or your business.

Which is really kind of stupid considering they’d make a ton more cash in the long run if they’d take the time to develop, train, and inspire people in their downline.

But, back to the subject at hand…

No matter what tremendous pitch you may have heard, or how great a compensation plan sounds, or how many marketing tools you may be given, or if you’re offering the “hottest new product that will do all of X, Y & Z!” and is guaranteed to sell itself and make it easy to be successful…

If you don’t have some foundational principles set in your mind, heart, and soul, you’re going to fail.

And fail miserably.  You and you alone determine your success in network marketing and you alone can change your mindset to where it needs to be, from one of expecting failure, which is probably where you are right now, to expecting success.

Now, it may seem difficult to do that, especially when you’ve experienced nothing but failure so far in any business you’ve ever tried.  I know, I was in exactly the same place you were at one point, and it wasn’t that long ago.

Then, I took hold of 3 foundational principles that have not only changed my business, but they’ve changed my life.

Principle #1 – Don’t Look Back. Everyone has failures or mistakes from their past.  To have success, you do have to learn from your past and value those lessons, but you don’t have to live in your past.  Take 5 minutes right now to wallow in the delicious misery that is your past.  Enjoy it. Embrace it. Discard it. Now move on and move forward.

Principle #2 – Don’t Give Up. It’s going to be tough.  Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. You’re going to have to thicken your skin, man up, and persevere. Edison tried 10,000 times before he got the lightbulb right.  Keep pushing, you will achieve a breakthrough.

Principle #3 – Have an Unstoppable Attitude. Determine that you’re going to succeed, no matter what, or more importantly who, comes in your path.  Sometimes, your closest friends and family will be your worst enemies when it comes to your network marketing business.  They’ll say you’re just wasting your money and that it’s all a scam.  Determine to ignore the nay-sayers. Determine that you will have all your dreams and desires.

Problem is, most people just simply don’t have the time or the access to talk to as many people as they need to in order to get the ball rolling in their network marketing business.

Once you setup your network marketing list and start to market it, you’re setting yourself up for total success as you’re building a list you can market to over and over again, whether they join your primary company or not.

But some people forget the basics of setting up a network marketing list and get so excited thinking about the wads of cash that are going to start rolling into their bank account just because they decided, “Hey, I’m gonna build a list!”

Here’s 3 simple steps that will help you start building your marketing list.  Now, don’t get ahead of yourself.  Just because you’re doing this doesn’t mean that you’re all of a sudden going to have 10,000 people on your email list tomorrow.  It takes time to build a list, and it takes time to build a relationship with them.  But keep plugging away at it, your success is just around the corner.

Step #1 – Get an Email Autoresponder service.  I know this may sound elementary to some of the “gurus” out there, but some people just don’t think about this.  They think they can just send out a bunch of emails from their Hotmail account and everything is just going to be a-ok.  Not gonna happen.  Get setup with a reliable email service provider that allows you to create multiple lists and unlimited autoresponders and broadcasts.  And of all the services that are out there, I can really only recommend one, and that’s Aweber.  I’ve been with these folks since very early on in my marketing career and have never, ever been disappointed.  The stats and control that you get with you Aweber account is the best in the business, and they have the easiest web form creation program there is.  Don’t mess around with anybody else, just get you an Aweber account.  You’ll thank me later, ’cause it’s gonna come in real handy in the next step…

Step #2 – Setup Your Opt-in Form.  Again, I know that for the “smart guys” out there, this sounds dumb to even bring this up.  But for the new folks, this is absolutely essential.  If you want people to start joining your list, you’ve got to have somewhere for them to sign-up.  Any good email autoresponder service will give you the tools to setup an opt-in form that you can put on pretty much any site that you want to with little headache.  Or, if you don’t feel comfortable, get your web guy to do it or pay someone a little cash at Guru.com to install it for you.

Once you’re all setup, you’re ready for Step 3 in our “Super Secret Network Marketing List Building System” ™

Step #3 – Promote Your Opt-in Form.  You’ve got your system, you’ve got your opt-in form.  Now all you need is to put some eyeballs in front of it. Start promoting whatever site you’ve got that form on.  Post it on Facebook, Twitter, your blog, forums, wherever you frequent and hang out online, get a link to that form up.

Now, let’s have a word about spamming, shall we? Don’t just go to every website on the Internet and start promoting your link.  That’s just tacky and insane.  No one will join your list and people will probably call you names and kick virtual sand in your face.  Keep it clean, keep it relevant and you’ll be on your way to success.

Bonus Step – Give something away to get people on your list.  Maybe you recorded an interview with someone in your upline, or another big producer in the industry.  Give it away to people as a gift for joining your list.  Give something away.  It doesn’t have to be expensive or take you 3 months to create, but give something away.  Find a public domain book that you can give people for free.  Just do something and make sure that it meets a need of your target market, put it in their hands, and you’re off and running with your very own network marketing list.

Like ridiculously big.

Seriously, I mean like HUGE.

I can’t even begin to describe to you the HUGENESS that is Frank Kern.

Not that I have any firsthand experience…

I’m telling you all this to get to my main point, which is about Frank’s Core Influence presentation.  Now, let’s get some things out in the open right now.  Core Influence is not something new from Frank.  This presentation is roughly 2 years old.  Given at one of Rich Schefren’s conferences, Frank sheds some light on his “Mass Control” launch and some of his other launches at that time and why they had done so well.

More importantly, Frank gives away the “keys to the kingdom” on how you can find the same success with your own sales.

Literally.

Now, I’ve got to admit, this was the first time I’ve ever seen this presentation. I’ve never bought Mass Control or any of Frank’s other products, but I’ve sat quietly back and watched…with amazement.

I’ve seen this guy that looks like a complete drifter sell millions of dollars worth of stuff without even having to break a sweat, twist anybody’s arm, or give away $10 million worth of free crap just to make a measly sale.

That ain’t how this guy works, folks.

And now, I know exactly why.  I know why he’s able to do what he does.

I understand how he’s able to connect to something deep inside me and seemingly, inside each one of his customers.

And how he makes it all look so easy.  And I also understand why I haven’t seen some of that same success in my own business and life.  I’ve been going about things the completely wrong way.

I thought I knew what my target market was.  Heck, I thought I knew who I was.

Completely wrong on both parts. And I’m willing to bet that you’re going to be completely wrong yourself, after you get done watching this amazing video.

Yes, it’s long.  Nearly two hours. But, I will guarantee you it will change your life, if you’re willing to be open to what information is given and start putting things into action.

There’s some deep stuff in this video and you may not like what you see when you start taking a look at yourself, your life, and your business.  But, be brave, dear marketer.  There is truth in this information, life-changing truth.

Take a look for yourself and see what you find.  You’ll be a better person, and a better marketer, once you’ve seen it and act.
