Good Sunday Morning….

As much as we all would love to believe that “real life” doesn’t affect our little lives here on the Interwebs, nothing could be further from the truth.  If you really do believe that, close your web browser, unplug your computer, and walk out your front door.

You might want to put on some sunscreen since it’s probably the first time you’ve been out in years.

For all the rest of us that still have a “real life, ” we know that sometimes things happen and that issues arise that take precedence over what’s going on here in our little online bubble.

That happened for me this past week.

My grandmother, just a few days shy of her 86th birthday, went on to a much better place last Saturday morning.  She had been in failing health for the last few years and within the last 2 weeks things had taken a turn for the worse.

Pay attention kids, this one’s important…

I know you’ve heard all about attraction marketing and how if you really want to be successful in the network marketing industry today that you should be attracting people to you, not your company.  People could care less about your company.  They care about you and what you have to offer them.

Your company is just a tool.  A tool to help YOU achieve your dreams and goals.  NOT your company’s dreams and goals.

If your only working to build your biz opp, you’re really just a well-paid employee, no different than the guy that’s selling an extended warranty on that computer at Best Buy.

Yes, you probably get paid a TON more money that he does, but you’re not really any different.  You’re not building YOUR business.

You’re building someone else’s.

I’m hoping by now that you’re aware that in this day and age you’ve got to have a blog if you’re going to be doing any marketing online.  A blog gives you a place to brand yourself and to develop a following online.  Plus, if you’re using it correctly, you can use your blog to help automate your lead generation process.

If you’re blogging on a regular basis, you should be inviting people to join your email list or presenting them some sort of funded proposal on your blog.  But have you thought about putting one of these options at the end of your blog posts?

Jason Better posted an interesting topic on his blog earlier today about how often should you email your list.  Jason’s answer (and mine too!) was very simply EVERY TIME THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET AWAY WITH IT!

Now, for a lot of people, this probably sounds like overkill.  Especially if you’re not used to cranking out content on a regular basis. But, no need to fear, true believer.  You can create content to send to your subscribers just as easily as you can anything else.

It doesn’t have to be hard, doesn’t have to eat up a lot of your time, and the results you’ll get from being active and involved with your list will far outweigh any negatives you can think of.
