Everyone knows that the key to building a long-term, sustainable MLM business is to always be recruiting new people. There’s a ton of reasons for this, but I’ll just cover a couple of them here.
First of all, you’ve always got to be recruiting people because you never know which ones are going to produce and which ones aren’t. I’ve learned in my relatively short time in this industry that you can’t pin your hopes of building a team on any one person. The ones that you think will do well don’t and then you get surprised by others. If you’re not recruiting, you’re not getting more people in and you never know when you might recruit the person that connects you with thousands.
Secondly, you always want to be recruiting because you want your team to do it. If your team members see you recruiting, they’ll do the same. If they see you struggling to get the same 5 people motivated to take any action at all, guess what?
So, are there any tips that will help you explode your MLM recruiting efforts? Of course there are! Here’s 3 of them that you can start using right away.
Tip #1 – Keep it simple. I see too many people too often make recruiting a difficult, drawn out process. Trust me, the longer you make the recruiting process the fewer people you’ll bring in and the more you’ll get frustrated. Keep things simple for yourself and for your team. Again, whatever you do, expect your team to do the same. Present your opportunity to as many people as possible and then collect a decision. Plain and simple
Tip #2 – Be consistent. You should be taking some action to recruit every day in your business. It just needs to become part of your daily routine. Yes, you should spend time in training and personal development, you should spend some time blogging (if you’re marketing online), you should spend some time talking with you current team members, but you should also be recruiting every day. The more you do it, the more people you’ll bring in. And the better you’ll be.
Tip #3 – Don’t get discouraged. This is not a sprint, it’s a marathon run. Unless you already have a large network of influence, you’re probably not going to recruit a lot of people when you first get started in your business. Don’t let that get to you. Keep at it every day. Over time (and not all that long of a time) you will start to see results. And once the flywheel starts to spin, look out. You’ll be recruiting people every week, if not every day in your business.
I know these tips may not sound like a lot, and really, they’re not. They’re simple and to the point, which is exactly what your recruiting needs to be. Keep it simple and you’ll soon be a recruiting superstar.
