MLM lead generation

Leads, leads, leads. Everyone in the network marketing and MLM business knows that leads drive your business.  It’s like kicking off the flywheel of your business every time you get a lead.  Get enough leads and that flywheel just starts spinning all on it’s own, truly exploding your

business.

And the eternal question for every network marketer is “How do I get more leads, and get them faster?” And that’s a question that has about a million answers.  You can search online or ask people in the business and every one of them is likely to give you a different answer.

The truth is, there are literally thousands of ways that you can get more leads to your business.  But which ones give you the most bang for your buck?  Which ones can you use that are easy and give you the best results for the time you put in?

Here’s 7 quick and dirty tips that will create a steady stream of MLM leads to your business, getting that flywheel spinning and growing  your

business quickly.

Quick and Dirty Tip #1 – Use Facebook to get more leads. Now, there are lots of people that look really spammy on Facebook while they are promoting their business.  Don’t be one of those.  Stick to promoting how your business can help people, focus on the benefits that the business offers, not just telling people how much money they might make.  Focus on the benefits in your Facebook posts and you’ll see people getting interested in your activity quickly.

Quick and Dirty Tip #2 – Put drop cards in places where leads hang out. I’m sure you’ve seen drop cards laying all over the place.  These are the little cards that look like $100 bills that you see laying around on bathroom stalls and on the floor.  Don’t put them there, you’re just wasting your time.  Get some drop cards and put them where your ideal leads hang out.  Go to the bookstore and stuff them inside books about starting your own business, network marketing, personal development and other topics like that.  You’ll get a much better result if you leave your drop cardsin good places, not just laying on the floor in your local retail store.

Quick and Dirty Tip #3 – Use Craigslist. You’ve got to be careful how you advertise your business on Craigslist, but this is still a great place to get leads for your business.  People are looking online everyday for ways to make more money, quit their job, or start a new career.  Get your business in front of them and get some more leads.

Quick and Dirty Tip #4 – Start creating YouTube videos. The barriers to entry for making online video are gone.  For about $100, you can get a video camera that records in YouTube ready format and you don’t even need to get a video editing program when you start.  Just start recording and posting your videos.  Let your personality and your passion for your business come through and you’ll have leads coming in quickly.

Quick and Dirty Tip #5 – Get involved in your community. There are all kinds of local events that you can participate in as a sponsor or set up a “booth” where you can talk about your business.  Go speak at a local chamber of commerce, Lions or Rotary club meeting.  Get up and talk about what your business can do and how it can benefit the members of those groups.  More exposure = more leads.

Quick and Dirty Tip #6 – Change your voicemail message. People call you all the time, don’t they?  Make sure you voicemail is bright and chipper and then leave them with something like, “if you want to see what I’m up to right now, just pop over and visit this site….” and I think you’ll be surprised with what happens.

Quick and Dirty Tip #7 – Be consistent. This isn’t really quick and it certainly isn’t dirty, but it does work.  You will only see true success in your network marketing internet business if you are consistent with your tactics.  No matter what they are, if you aren’t consistent, you’ll never gain any momentum.

Stick with it until you see your dreams fulfilled.  Yes, it will be hard in the beginning to get that first mlm lead, but it will come.  Then another, and another, and another.  Then, you’ll see them coming in 2 or 3 at a time, Then 5 or 6.  Then you’ll have so many you won’t know what to do with them all.  And you’ll have achieve success in your network marketing internet business.

      Sonny,

Absolutely! Too many times people try to focus on too many different tactics for lead generation. Pick a few of your favorites and use them until you’ve mastered them. Then you can move on to something new.

      Thanks for stopping by!

      Mike

  2. All very good ways to generate leads, but the most important one is #7 because if you’re not PRESENT and consistent, then you’ll lose credibility and trust in the industry. We’d also like to add that in joining community groups that Meetup.com is another great resource to share ideas with like minded people, mastermind and present your opportunity to others who are already open and interested in new ventures. Thanks Mike!

Now why does the tips have to be dirty rather than clean tips? LOL All great tips my friend.

As we all know; Facebook and YouTube is one of the biggest ways of getting your content seen, your face, and your voice heard. The offline stuff works just as well, maybe in little spurts, but its still effective. And Being Consistent of course is the key to tieing all this in together to making your self image known to the world and becoming wealthy. Nice DIRTY tips Mike. Next time try sprucing them up. :)
