3 Foundational Principles for Network Marketing Success

Network Marketing SuccessSuccess in network marketing doesn’t necessarily require you to be the greatest salesperson in the world.  Your success, or failure, is really determined by the principles that guide you in your business.  If you haven’t had success yet, maybe you’re not building from these 3 core principles for success.

Everybody is looking for the quick and easy way to success with network marketing.  Now, I’m not sure if that is because most of us are set up from the beginning thinking that we’ve now set out on the “easy path” to wealth and riches, or if we’re just delusional.

Maybe it’s a bit of both.

But, you can’t always believe everything you see or hear, especially when it comes to network marketing.  There really are some people that will just about tell you anything you want to hear to get you to join their company and make a quick sign-up bonus, all while having no interest in developing you or your business.

Which is really kind of stupid considering they’d make a ton more cash in the long run if they’d take the time to develop, train, and inspire people in their downline.

But, back to the subject at hand…

No matter what tremendous pitch you may have heard, or how great a compensation plan sounds, or how many marketing tools you may be given, or if you’re offering the “hottest new product that will do all of X, Y & Z!” and is guaranteed to sell itself and make it easy to be successful…

If you don’t have some foundational principles set in your mind, heart, and soul, you’re going to fail.

And fail miserably.  You and you alone determine your success in network marketing and you alone can change your mindset to where it needs to be, from one of expecting failure, which is probably where you are right now, to expecting success.

Now, it may seem difficult to do that, especially when you’ve experienced nothing but failure so far in any business you’ve ever tried.  I know, I was in exactly the same place you were at one point, and it wasn’t that long ago.

Then, I took hold of 3 foundational principles that have not only changed my business, but they’ve changed my life.

Principle #1 – Don’t Look Back. Everyone has failures or mistakes from their past.  To have success, you do have to learn from your past and value those lessons, but you don’t have to live in your past.  Take 5 minutes right now to wallow in the delicious misery that is your past.  Enjoy it. Embrace it. Discard it. Now move on and move forward.

Principle #2 – Don’t Give Up. It’s going to be tough.  Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. You’re going to have to thicken your skin, man up, and persevere. Edison tried 10,000 times before he got the lightbulb right.  Keep pushing, you will achieve a breakthrough.

Principle #3 – Have an Unstoppable Attitude. Determine that you’re going to succeed, no matter what, or more importantly who, comes in your path.  Sometimes, your closest friends and family will be your worst enemies when it comes to your network marketing business.  They’ll say you’re just wasting your money and that it’s all a scam.  Determine to ignore the nay-sayers. Determine that you will have all your dreams and desires.
